Bonjour Baby Shower

At 37 weeks pregnant I didn’t have much energy for anything and a storm that made us lose power for five (5) days sure didn’t help! My baby shower was already scheduled and it wasn’t going to get postponed!

Our venue did not lose power which was amazing! but most of our guests like myself had to get ready at home with no power. I had an intimate baby shower with about sixty (60) people attending.

The theme was Bonjour Baby. We set up blue and sage green accents across the venue and had Eiffel Towers as centerpieces.

My Husband, Father, and brother were our servers and attended each guest arriving with a mini charcuterie plate and a mimosa with “French” inspired music playing of course.

Baby Shower Games

I originally didn’t want to do games but my brother suggested he be the baby shower MC. Easily convinced these are the games we had:

Guess how many recess pieces are in the bottle

So Blessed

Baby Z was showered with so much love! I couldn’t be more grateful to all of our family and friends who gifted us items for Baby Z. As a first-time mom I had no idea what I needed but I was gifted extras off of my registry that came in handy!

Lastly, I have to give a HUGE shout-out to my mom for planning/organizing my baby shower. I love you.
